Rhythm Cat Pro - Learn To Read Music App Reviews

Its a good app to play in your free time, plus you can play it with your friends to see who has the best rhythm. The only thing that annoys me about this app is that the"rhythm cat" is a teeny weeny bit in the way when playing.

I would give 5 stars but the info about the rhytm before excercise start does not shows anything on how to perform it. Fix please.. Otherwise fun and clever

This app is great. It starts off really easy and gets more difficult as you progress, teaching you the basics of reading rhythm in music. After you progress through a few levels and it starts to get difficult, go back to the easier levels to get a higher score and you will see just how much youve learned. The other apps - treble cat and bass cat - are just as great, too!

Great until game requires ambidextrous thumbs which has nothing to do with note reading. That held me back when I would have preferred the difficulty to come from more complex rhythms and tempos.

Ive studied classical piano and now Im teaching it. I downloaded the app in order to try it out and recommend it to my kids students but I can not do it for the moment cause this app needs to improve the accuracy of detection. Its not the hardware problem cause the button registers me touching it, but the notes randomly do not become green.

Progresses pretty quickly. Helps you associate rhythm theory with real music. Doesnt require former training. I do find a little background in subdividing notes helpful.

I loved this app and am using it with my students. If there is a next level coming out sometime, I would like to see 16th notes and their variations in it.

Level 3 -14 has a mistake in it. It wont let you get it right. The down beat of the 3rd bar is the problem.

Very cute! I love the cats. Very sophisticated and modest way to teach people of all ages! Very enjoyable and welcoming for people who want to learn. Anyone that doesnt have this app, GET IT!

very good app. they should add more levels though and have a broader list of songs because many levels repeat the melody

I have this app on my iPhone 4 and kindle fire both. However I do notice some levels are buggy about not registering notes! :( I hope to see these bugs fixed and more songs in the future!

It was good until it crashed on 2-4. Now I cant continue playing.

As a music teacher, I really enjoyed this game. Good for rhythm literacy. Sometimes the app doesnt catch all the taps for the rhythms, which was annoying, but most of the time its great. Catchy tunes, too.
