Rhythm Cat Pro - Learn To Read Music App Reviews

I had trouble with a few of the games not recognizing the correct rhythm being played, and one game (5-9, I think) wouldnt show the correct score until I had beat all the other games and tried it again. I plan on using this in the classroom. Very nice game. Thank you!

I love this app! I have been trying to learn to count music and this is a fun way to do it. My only complaint is that it sometimes lets me pass levels that it gives me greens where I dont deserve them. Nice for my ego, not so good for my counting skills.

I am a music teacher and this app was a ton of fun. A couple glitches here and there - but I plan to tell my students about this app so they can practice their rhythms!

I love the idea of this app, if it would not continue to crash in the middle of my lessons.... I am very disappointed.

As an educator, I like this app for its potential as a reinforcement and practice of rhythmic elements. The sequence isnt the same as I use in my classes, but once students have a basic understanding of the division of beats in a bar and rest durations this is a great, fun and entertaining exercise. It also proves to be a wonderful extension app for those students who are ahead.

This game is great. Really helps with rhythm and is pretty accurate to the touch and beat. Can be very useful to train younger kids with their rhythm and beat. Thanks for the app!

Great app. General music students love it. Some levels require more of a feel for the accompaniment than actual mental subdivision. Rhythms often line up with an audible melody kids can follow but whatever gets kids to enjoy playing rhythm games is fantastic.

I normally never write reviews , my last review was probably a year ago. This app is too good to not write a positive review so here I am. First off, this is a must have for students/adults who needs help with their rhythm. This game is NOT boring at all, in fact it is really fun! I love this app and I would like to applaud the developers and makers of this excellent app!:)

The controller - tapping on the screen - doesnt work very well. Very frustrating when you keep doing the same level over and over not because youre not playing the rhythm correctly but because the game isnt registering your "taps," showing youve missed notes when you really didnt. Also, not very helpful to use widely-known pieces ("Silent Night" for example) which people already know the rhythm for since childhood. Lastly, for five bucks its pretty limited - finish all the levels and the software is now useless. Would be much more useful if it could generate random rhythms to drill you - it would never become useless!

Im a music teacher, I was going to make all my students get this app! Really cool, I ended up downloading it and playing the entire game by myself for fun

Its great. It does however, have a few glitches there is a glitch I believe on the 3rd stage in one of the levels it freezes as well as the starting screen is upside-down in comparison to the next screen. Also I wish there were more levels!

What a great app for people of all ages to use for practicing rhythms! It is a bit touchy, but not bad once you get use to it. I do wish that each piece was titled though. That would just add one extra bit of educational learning to this great app! Nice going!

I LOVE rhythm cat but it needs one basic fix. It highlights the notes AFTER playing them, which is terribly confusing because my students always think theyre one note behind. The notes need to highlighted in real time.
